Now That's Useful
I just found this hint about being able to add addresses and phone numbers to the Mac OS X Address Book directly from the Phone Book Dashboard widget. Now that is actually useful. For me, it is a reason to actually use the Phone Book widget over a website such as Superpages.
This functionality is in no way Dashboard specific, so unfortunately, it doesn’t alleviate any of my previous gripes about Dashboard. There could just as easily be a Safari or Quicksilver plug-in that provides this functionality. For now, however, it is a reason for me to keep the Phone Book widget on my rather sparse Dashboard.
