Pee-freezin' weather

Last year we had booger freezin' weather and light switch freezin' weather. Today, we had pee-freezin' weather. Sera is somewhere around twelve years old (we rescued her, and so we aren't exactly sure how old she is), and her bladder can't quite make it through the night anymore. So, today, Lor got up at 5am to take her out. A bit later, around 7:30, I got up to let the other two out, and found a frozen puddle just outside the back door. Now that's cold.

I'm NowPublic

The other day I got a strange message in my flickr inbox asking me if I would allow one of my photos to be used in a news story on NowPublic. I hadn’t heard of them, so I did some quick Googling to assure myself it was legitimate, and gave them permission to use the photo.

The photo is of the bathroom in the Ritz Carlton in Sarasota. The story is about the Ritz’s dog massage program. For some reason, that just makes me chuckle.
