I'm shrinking

On a related note to shirts not fitting, clothing sizes in general seem to be quite ridiculous these days. I’m about 5 ft. 11 in., and usually somewhere between 150 - 160 lbs., and have been for about 10-15 years. The shirt I ordered was a men’s medium, and you could have put two of me into it.

Last year, I tried to buy a new pair of swimming trunks, and eventually gave up, because every pair I found that I actually liked came in nothing smaller than size medium, which was too big. I have a 30 inch waist … is that really not medium anymore?

Lor and I have noticed over the past 5-6 years that women’s clothing sizes have, shall we say, adjusted. About 6 years ago, Lor was a size 4, then a size 2, now she has to look for size 2 clothes that run small, or even size zero. Size zero. Pretty soon, she’ll have to look for size negative 2 in some weird specialty shop.
